"My first experience with chiropractic was in 1974 when a friend and I were involved in a car accident. I had never been to a chiropractor. While at the office a woman sat down across from me holding a Dachshund. The woman brought the Dachshund to the treatment room and the doctor called me into the room. He then proceeded to adjust the Dachshund. As he put the dog down, he looked me in the eyes and said, 'That's how chiropractic works; you take the pressure off the nerve and the body does the rest.'"

"He continued and invited me to a New York State Chiropractic meeting and I was enrolled in Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia two years later."

On a Personal Note...

Today Dr. Frachtman is married to Carol, a teacher of the gifted in Parkland, Florida. Their son Joshua Frachtman, was married to Julia Kornfield Frachtman, J.D. in April 2009. They are both graduates of the University of Florida and Nova Law. Their daughter Brianna Frachtman is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in animal science and biology. Their daughter Staci Frachtman is a junior at Florida Atlantic University and is seeking a degree in Psychology.
